I’ve never been a huge fondant fan, but when the cake started crumbling when I put the buttercream over it, I had no choice but to make it.
This was my first time making marshmallow fondant, and outside of the ordeal when the marshmallows melted and expanded over the pan in the microwave, it wasn’t too bad. It tastes really good too.
The fondant was a little creased, but you can’t see that in the photo. I’m only dissatisfied with my roses. They icing was too soft and they kept falling apart when I tried to move them. I ended up frosting the majority of them on the cake itself.
